I’m excited to share the fascinating world of Shogi with you. I am a certified Shogi Instructor authorized by the Japan Shogi Association and currently serve as a Branch Chief of the association. I also teach Shogi at Tsuruma Elementary School.
I offer this experience because Shogi is a beautiful part of Japanese culture with a history spanning over a thousand years. One of the things I love most about Shogi is that anyone can enjoy playing, whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned professional. I hope to introduce you to this fascinating tradition and help you discover the excitement, strategy, and cultural significance of Shogi.
