Ramen and gyoza are must-try foods when you visit Japan, so why not experience the fun of making them yourself? In this new ramen course, you can learn how to make authentic home-style ramen and handmade gyoza in three hours under the supervision of an expert in traditional Japanese cooking!
First you’ll tour the chef’s home – a gorgeous, traditional Japanese house with a beautiful garden. You can also choose to enjoy tea ceremony after your meal in the tatami room!
When it’s time to cook, choose either soy or miso soup, and learn how to use Japanese soup stock to create your own original flavor. We’ll also teach you how to make seasoned boiled eggs – a tasty topping commonly served in ramen shops.
Next, we’ll make some gyoza (dumplings) from scratch! You’ll stretch and wrap the dough, then boil or fry them (both are delicious!)
Finally, finish off your meal with some easy-to-make Japanese sweets. Your family and friends back home will be amazed when you come back from Japan able to make them a tasty meal, just like in a typical Japanese home!
