Ramen and gyoza are must-try foods when you visit Japan, so why not experience the fun of making them yourself? In this new ramen course, you can learn how to make authentic home-style ramen and handmade gyoza in three hours under the supervision of an expert in traditional Japanese cooking!

First you’ll tour the chef’s home – a gorgeous, traditional Japanese house with a beautiful garden. You can also choose to enjoy tea ceremony after your meal in the tatami room!

When it’s time to cook, choose either soy or miso soup, and learn how to use Japanese soup stock to create your own original flavor. We’ll also teach you how to make seasoned boiled eggs – a tasty topping commonly served in ramen shops.

Next, we’ll make some gyoza (dumplings) from scratch! You’ll stretch and wrap the dough, then boil or fry them (both are delicious!)

Finally, finish off your meal with some easy-to-make Japanese sweets. Your family and friends back home will be amazed when you come back from Japan able to make them a tasty meal, just like in a typical Japanese home!

  • Learn how to make homemade ramen, gyoza and dessert.
  • Tour both a vegetable garden and traditional Japanese garden
  • Enjoy tea ceremony in a beautiful Japanese tatami room

I love Japan and all facets of Japanese culture such as gardens and traditional architecture. I would like to introduce you to many aspects of Japan, but I have decided to start with Japanese food.

I’m an aficionado of cooking, tea, herbs, Chinese herbal medicine dishes, dietary education, vegan dishes, cereals dishes, and sweets with licenses in all of those subjects.
